Trey Grine

 Trey Grine continues to climb the charts among division II wrestlers. Grine's performance at the Michigan State Open caught the attention of many division I programs. Trey defeated Arizona State twice and then beat Michigan to finish 3rd at 149 pounds. 

2016-17:

Grine was impressive on the mat, posting a 32-11 overall record with three pins. He was a 1st team All-GLIAC selection and took 3rd at the Midwest Region Championships to qualify for Nationals.

Personal:

Trey is a native of Fremont, Ohio and is majoring in Criminal Justice. He is the son of Steve and Jozette Grine.

High School:

Trey graduated from Fremont Ross High School. While attending, he was a runner up at the OHSAA Championship Meet in 2016, placed 4th in 2015, and owns the school record for most career wins with 173. Grine was a 3-time conference champion, 3-time sectional champion, district champion, and a 3-time team captain.
