TIFFIN, Ohio - For the 2012 spring season, just call the Tiffin University men's golf team, "The Kings of the Road." The Dragons will play tournaments in six states by the time the season comes to a close.

Tiffin, which posted the best team GPA in the athletic department with a 3.62 mark, opens the season at the Jack Brown Memorial in Laredo, Texas, Feb. 13-14. The Laredo Country Club is a 18-hole par-72 course with a total yardage of 7,125 yards. The course is considered be fairly difficult and will challenge the golfers.

The Dragons head to Greenville, Tenn., Mar. 10-11 to compete at the Tusculum Invitational. After travelling to Myrtle Beach from March 11-17 on their annual spring trip, April 1 and 16 will be critical tournaments to determine potential post-season play. Tiffin will be competing at the Great Lakes Regional No. 2 and 3 tournaments in Georgetown, Ky. and Noblesville, Ind., respectively.

Tiffin closes the season with a pair of tournaments in Ohio at the end of April. On April 21-22, TU will play at the Ashland Invitational in Ashland. On April 28, the Dragons close the regular season at the GLIAC Preview in Elyria.
