FINDLAY, Ohio - School records from Lynzi Daughenbaugh (60-meter hurdles), Jon Lester (Pentathlon) and the women's 3200m relay team were the highlights for the Tiffin University men's and women's track and field team at the Findlay Indoor Classic, Friday evening. The Dragons had 13 top 10 finishes and 10 additions to the top 10 list.

Men

Lester scored 3040 points to place third in the pentathlon. He broke the school record of 3027 points set by Dan Snyder in 2007. Joe Candito scored 2394 points to place fourth in the heptathlon. Tiffin garnered third place performances from the 3200m relay team (8:01.15) and the distance medley relay team (10:27.38).

Women

In the 60m hurdles, Daughenbaugh became the first Dragon to break nine seconds as she was clocked at 8.92. She ended up scoring 3257 points to place third in the pentathlon. TU ran 9:44.18 to shatter the 3200m relay record by over 28 seconds. Ashley Dewitt was runner-up in the 20-LB weight with a toss of 55 feet, 4.25 inches.

Tiffin is back in action, Saturday, Jan. 28, when they compete in the Findlay Indoor Classic. The meet is scheduled to run all day.
