Tiffin University's golf team finished 9th of 13 teams at the Ashland Invitational, improving significantly on day two to finish with a 634. Findlay won the event with a 598 score.
TU opened with a 323 but chopped 12 strokes off that on day two despite the withdrawal of
Dillon Klein limiting the Dragons to four golfers. TU shot 311 on day two, with
Blake DeBruyn making the biggest jump from 87 to 77 to finish third for TU with 164.
Tyler Maranville finished 7th overall, shooting 74 and 77 for 151.
Jon Klein also improved from day one to day two, shooting 80-75 for 155, while
Jason Crow improved from 85 to 82 for 167.
The Dragons also had three individuals compete.
Ryan Courtright had a strong day, finishing 5th overall with a 78-72 for 150, while
Justin Epure also fired a 154.
Phil Patten finished with 165.
