Tiffin University (13-4-2) battled back from a halftime deficit and found the net in the second overtime period, dispatching Northwood 3-2 to reach the GLIAC Tournament Championship game to be played Sunday, Nov. 6 at 12 pm.

The Dragons, trailing 1-0 after a NU goal in the 12th minute, tied the score in the 55th minute when Michael McPeek took a pass from Abdoul Magid Sy. They then took the lead in the 66th minute on an unassisted goal by Michael Bottomley.

The Timberwolves forced overtime with a clutch goal in the 77th minute, and despite shots from both sides in the first overtime, neither team could gain the advantage.

GLIAC Offensive Player of the Year Andre Landell then got his 7th gamewinning goal of the season when he took a rebound shot from Scott Byrom and buried it in the net to give TU the victory in the 107th minute.

Overall TU outshot NU 19-11 while both teams were even in corner kicks 5-5.

Cary Wilson got the win in goal, making 4 saves over 107 minutes.

TU will now play the winner of Saginaw Valley State/Lake Erie for the GLIAC Tournament Championship.
