Tiffin University (3-4, 1-2 GLIAC) used strong shooting to carry it into an overtime victory over Wayne State 79-76.

The Dragons shot 54 percent in the game, including a phenomenal 72 percent in the second quarter as they battled with the Warriors. TU's lone curse was turnovers, which kept Wayne State in the game throughout the contest. The Warriors scored 29 points off turnovers, as the Dragons totaled 24 in the game.

Kristen Massey led the Dragons off the bench with 14 points, while Allie Miller chipped in 12 points with 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Ali Schirmer had 11 points with 6 assists and 5 rebounds, while Kiley May also had 11 points. Seven different Dragons scored 7 or more points.

Wayne State also shot well in the first half, hitting at a 52 percent clip, but the Dragons held them to just 23 percent in the final quarter.

With WSU leading 72-71, the Warriors went to the line following a foul but missed both free throws. The Dragons got the rebound and Deidre McKay was fouled with 5 seconds remaining. She tied the score 72-72 by hitting the first shot but missed the second. A last second shot by the Warriors' Shannon Wilson did not go in, sending the game to overtime.

With the game tied 76-76 with 1:24 left, the Dragons again managed to get to the foul line, with McKay hitting a shot and Schirmer burying both shots with 18 ticks left to put TU up 3 points. WSU missed a three point attempt at the buzzer.
