The Tiffin University men's basketball team were battered and bruised by the Ferris State University Bulldogs 96-65 on the scoreboard, and the rebounding totals reflected the score, with Ferris State holding a 53-38 advantage.

At the start, the two sides were neck-and-neck with neither team leading by more than six points. At the 12:16 mark of the 1st half, Tiffin trailed 13-11, but a 9-0 run over the next three minutes gave Ferris State a 22-11 lead. The Bulldogs continued to build upon their lead, hitting four three point shots and shooting 46% from the field. The 2nd half saw more of the same, as the Bulldogs kept the Dragons at a distance. The Dragons offense played better in the half, scoring 45 points, but the Bulldogs were just as efficient, scoring 49 points on 19 of 36 shooting.
