Tiffin University's Brett Green took medalist honors at the Saginaw Valley State Invitational played at Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Kentucky. He led the Dragons to a runner-up finish in the 21 team field.
Tiffin had a strong showing, firing a 300 on day one before improving by five strokes to 295 on day two. They finished with 595, just 3 strokes behind Bellarmine for the title. Grand Valley State was third with 596.
Green was consistent, shooting rounds of 71 and 72 to win individual honors with 143.
Tiffin's other four golfers were all within 6 strokes of each other. Tomas Krivanec was 2nd, improving by 4 strokes on day two (77-73) to finish with 150.
Jordan Bollenbacher rounded out TU's field with a 163 total, improving by 11 strokes on day two (87-76).
