Tiffin University opened its 2010 volleyball season against Rockhurst and Urbana in Kansas City, Missouri, falling to Rockhurst in match one 3-0 by scores of 16-25, 20-25, 12-25. TU then beat Urbana 3-0 in a solid outing by scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-18.

In the victory against the Blue Knights, Brooke Bernabei pounded out 14 kills with 8 digs while Brittany Teaford also had 7 kills and 8 blocks. Jessica Adams had 25 assists with 7 digs, while Jordan Jenkins also contributed 7 digs. Lindsay Heller also led the team with 16 digs.

The Dragons had 9.5 team blocks against Urbana along with 51 digs. They attacked well, hitting .253 and also posted 5 aces.

The Dragons played Rockhurst close in game one before Rockhurst put together a 10-0 run to put the first set away. TU bounced back in game two, jumping out to a 10-5 lead, but Rockhurst rallied to a 20-10 advantage the rest of the way to win game two. Rockhurst then went on to dominate the final game.

Brooke Bernabei led the Dragons with 9 kills and 9 digs while Danielle McQuade added 5 kills. Lindsay Heller had 8 digs, Jessica Adams led with 18 assists, and Brittany Teaford had 3 solo blocks.
