Darby Roggow enters his 12th season as Head Coach for the Dragons. He is looking forward to a competitive 2011-12 season as Tiffin is much improved from the previous season.
"Entering our fourth year in the GLIAC is exciting as I feel we are much improved," Roggow said.
The Dragons will be lead by senior Dillon Klein and senior Blake DeBruyn. Both are returning All-GLIAC players. Also traveling with the varsity this year will be senior Jason Crow, senior Justin Epure and junior Jon Klein. The top newcomer for the Dragons is Tyler Maranville from Lake High School in Canton, Ohio.
"I am confident that within our top six, we can find five players that will help us in winning tournaments," Roggow added.
Coach Roggow spends his summer months recruiting quality student-athletes as well as competing in area golf tournaments and caddying in area professional events.
Darby is Assistant Athletic Director as well as the Director of Club/Recreational and Intramural Sports at Tiffin University. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management in 1996 and obtained his Master's degree in Business Administration in 1999.
