Head Track and Field/Cross Country Coach Jeremy Croy enters his 12th season at Tiffin University. Since his arrival, Coach Croy has led the Dragons to 11 consecutive winning seasons. Through 2011 the men have posted a 416-110 record (.790) (61-15 in 2011) and the women 276-238 (.536) (43-17 in 2011) during that same time. The Dragons also have had over 100 All-Americans (Academic and Athletic) and shattered every school record on the books.

Both track and field squads also gained their highest ever conference placing in Coach Croy's first season and continued that success during their last season in the NAIA with the men's squad winning their fourth consecutive conference championship. Coach Croy was also recognized as the 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 AMC Coach of the Year for winning the AMC Conference Championship and finishing the season with a record of 51-2 in 2007.

Croy was also named GLIAC Outdoor Track and Field Coach of the Year honors in 2011 and followed up that season with NCAA II Regional Coach of the Year honors as well.

Croy is an Ohio Northern University graduate with a degree in Sports Management. He also was a four-year letter winner in track and cross-country, earning MVP honors for the cross-country squad. Croy obtained his Master's degree in Sports Management from Springfield College (MA). Croy, his wife (Meladie), daughter (Corinne) and son (William) reside here in Tiffin.

Ron Martin is beginning his fifth season with Tiffin University as a distance coach. In the four years that Martin has coached the "TU DISTANCE CREW", his athletes have broken over 19 school records and garnered two NCAA D-II All Americans. Chad Roberts accomplished the feat in Cross Country (28th in 31:17.4) and Jeremy Lee was 3rd at the National Meet in the 1500 (3:51.53).


Ron taught health and physical education for 30 years. He has coached distance runners for over 24 years in 3 different high schools (Caldwell, Tiffin Columbian, and Seneca East). In cross country, Martin's athletes have compiled an overall record of 2730 Wins - 354 Losses (88.5% winning percentage). His athletes have a combined total of 28 All-Ohio honors, 8 individual State Champions, and 3 high school All-Americans. His teams have finished 1st or 2nd in the State Cross Country Meet 16 times.



In Track, Martin's distance runners have compiled 25 All-Ohio honors, 5 individual State Champions, 8 high school All-Americans, and 1 National Champion in the 5000m (15:12.7).



Ron and Bev, his wife of 31 years, are parents to 5 children (Chris, Heather, Erica, Rachel, and Rebecca).

Marc Small begins his second year coaching here at Tiffin University.  He will coach the Sprints and Jumps program  after three successful years at Lake Superior State University as their sprints/jumps coach and the team's strength and conditioning coordinator.  During his time at LSSU, Small's athletes have broken 21 school records with over 15 top 5 finishes at the GLIAC championship meets, and he also helped train a 2007 NCAA All American. 

Small graduated from Tiffin University in 2006 with a degree in Sports Management.  He also received a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction and completed his track career at LSSU. In addition to coaching Marc taught weight training classes in the department of recreational studies, and was an academic adviser for the Lake State track team.

In 2006 Marc was a part of 6 school records at TU and helped lead the team to 3 consecutive championships.  He is now currently ranked in Tiffin Track's Top 10 list in 5 indoor events/ 3 outdoor, and also is currently part of two school records at Lake State (indoor 4x400m and the DMR).

Tiffin University graduate Raymond Robinson enters his first year with the track and field team as the Throws Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. Ray owns the school record in the discus and is also on the top ten list in the weight and hammer throw. Scoring as a three time All-GLIAC student athlete in the discus, Robinson was also named to the GLIAC All-Academic team four times and earned Academic All-American status in 2010. Robinson was also a National Qualifier in the discus throw in 2010.

Coaching experience: USATF registered coach. Coached Adriane Blewitt at the 2010 U.S. Championships at Drake University, in Des Moines Iowa. Blewitt finished fifth in the shot put among the nation's professionals. He also coached her in the 2011 U.S. Championships at the University of Oregon, in Eugene, Oregon. Robinson has worked extensively with John Godina, four-time world champion and nine-time Olympic and World Championship medal recipient in both the shot put and the discus. Coach Robinson's throwing philosophy is heavily influenced by both John Godina and Adriane Blewitt.

Jonathan Graupmann enters his first year coaching with the Dragons. He has coached over the last two seasons at Marietta College focusing on the sprints and hurdles. During those two seasons, he helped lead Marietta to 53 All-OAC honors and 10 All-Conference relays. Amongst his other coaching accomplishments, he aided athletes in becoming National qualifiers and garnering three Division II All-American honors, including coaching the 2011 OAC Men's Harrison Dillard Most Outstanding Sprint Athlete. In 2010 he was part of the OAC Women's Indoor Coaching Staff of the Year.

While coaching at Dixie Heights High School (KY) in 2008, he coached the KHSAA Class 3A Individual State Champion in the Boys 300 meter hurdles. He also has coaching experience with the Northern Kentucky Track Club. He is USATF Level 2 certified in sprints, hurdles, and relays and also has certification as USATF Level 2 Endurance and USATF Emerging Elite Coaches Camp for sprints, hurdles, and relays.

He earned his Bachelors degree in History from Ohio Northern University in 2007. While competing at ONU he earned All-American honors in 2005 and was 5-time OAC champion.

Steve is beginning his 2nd season as an assistant coach at Tiffin University.  He works primarily with hurdlers and sprinters.  Steve is a Tiffin native who has taught World Studies at Lakota Schools for 30 years.  He has coached track for the last 33 years and was head boy's and girl's track coach for 24 of those years.  He accumulated a winning record of 2028 wins and 908 losses with both the boy's and girl's teams.  He has had athletes who have represented Lakota High School for 27 of the last 32 years in the state championship.  In 1987, the Lakota girls track team won the State Championship.

Steve has taught education classes at Heidelberg University from 2006 to 2009.  He received the Bob Cline Longevity Award for 30 plus years of coaching and was nominated in 2010 for the Ohio Track and Field Hall of Fame Fred Daffler Longevity Award.  Steve is married to his wife Kathy and they have two children, Kara and Tony.

Sirena Williams begins her first year as an Assistant Coach at Tiffin University. She will direct her attention and energy toward the team's long sprinters.

Before coming to Tiffin, Williams was the Assistant Coach at Feather River College in Quincy, California. Williams was their main recruiter for the brand new Women's Cross Country and Track & Field programs. Prior to her collegiate coaching career, Williams was the Head Coach of South River HS boys and girls track & field teams were they broke 19 school records. The SRHS girl's team won the 2010 Indoor Regional Championship; first team title since 1983. Williams also produced five high school All-County Team Champions and 39 State Qualifiers (7 placed in the top 8 at the Maryland State Track & Field Championships), and 4 nationally ranked athletes.

Before her success at SRHS, Williams spent four years at Suitland HS, as an assistant for the first three years and the Head Women's coach the fourth year. During her four years at SHS, she helped guide the boys program to four State Championship titles.

Williams started her track journey at Central High School in 1993. She was a four letter winner in the sport. By the end of her high school career, she was an 8-time Maryland State Champion, running events ranging from the short sprints to the hurdles. She made the All-County Team several times and was voted to the Washington Post's 1996-97 All-Met Track and Field Team. Williams was an integral part of CHS winning two Maryland State Championship in 1995 (Outdoor) and 1997 (Indoor). She then attended the University of Connecticut as a member of the track program on an athletic scholarship.

Williams holds USATF Level II Certification in Sprints, Hurdles, and Relays. Williams is also a USATFNC Certified Official specialized as a Starter.

Williams, a Maryland native, holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication Processes from the University of Connecticut in 2001. She is currently in pursuit of her MBA in Sports Management.

Justin Depinet enters his first year with the Dragons program. In 2002, Justin graduated from New Riegel High School.   After graduating high school he was faced with the decision to become a collegiate athlete at Heidelberg University or to attempt to be a coach.   He chose coaching and developed a passion for it, so by the end of his fourth year at Heidelberg he had four years of high school coaching experience.    During those four years at New Riegel, Justin had the opportunity to coach his sister and multiple other athletes at the Division III State Meet.

In 2006, Justin graduated from Heidelberg University with a degree in High School Science Education.  He landed a job teaching High School Science at Tiffin Columbian where he soon found myself at home working with athletes inside and outside of the classroom.  From 2006-2009 at Columbian he was a part of the high school and middle school coaching staff.   Within those 3 years at Columbian he also was able to have the opportunity to coach multiple state athletes at the Division I and Division II level.

In 2009, Justin completed his Master's degree from Heidelberg University.
