Tiffin University enjoys playing its home football games at Frost-Kalnow Stadium, a newly renovated facility that seats 4,500 and is recognized as one of the premier football stadiums in Northwest Ohio.

The stadium is shared by Tiffin University, Heidelberg College, Columbian High School and Calvert High School, and was originally built by Franklin Roosevelt's WPA during the 1930s. Recently millions of dollars were spent in the renovation of the existing structure and the installation of state-of-the-art artificial turf.

The Dragons also have a large practice facility at the Tiffin University Athletic Fields, a newly developed property close to the TU campus. The location is just 1.5 miles from the Tiffin University campus and resides on 78 acres of land that also house all of the outdoor athletics teams at TU.

The Athletic Fields, which debuted in the Fall of 1997, feature a baseball field, two softball fields, two soccer fields, two football practice fields, and a cross-country course.

Also pictured on this page is the Athletic Fieldhouse. In addition, there is expanded parking accommodating hundreds of vehicles.

Heminger Field Video Tour

The latest addition to the campus, the Heminger Center, features an indoor track and field complex and a 60x50 yard turf indoor practice facility.

One major portion of the building includes an indoor track and four multi-purpose courts that will be used for basketball, volleyball, and tennis. The other large portion has artificial turf and will be used for practices by the TU football, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, and softball teams, in addition to intramurals, club sports and other recreational activities. The middle section of the facility has coaches' offices, locker rooms, an athletic training room, two classrooms, and a food court.

The Gillmor Student Center

The Gillmor Student Center has been the home arena for Tiffin University basketball since the 1988-89 season - and, like the saying goes, there's no place like home. In addition to the main auditorium, the building also contains over 17 offices, shower and locker rooms, a training room, a bookstore, a media conference room, a Student Activities room, the Student Affairs offices, the Channel 10 broadcast center, the Tiffin University Hall of Fame, and Trophy Gallery.

A complete renovation of the Gillmor Center was recently completed. The Dining Commons, the Osceola Theater, a student lounge, expanded recreation room, numerous new offices, and expanded parking areas are just a few of the new renovations. The complex nearly tripled in size and has grown to service even more of the Tiffin University community.

The PM Gillmor Tennis Courts

Tiffin University's men's and women's tennis teams play their home games at two facilities located on the Tiffin campus.

The majority of their matches are played at the PM Gillmor Tennis Courts located next to the Physical Fitness Center. The courts were recently resurfaced and renovated to give the Dragons a fitting home for their tennis squads.

The Dragons also utilize the new indoor courts at the Heminger Center adjacent to the PM Gillmor Courts. The latest addition to the campus, the Heminger Center features an indoor track and field complex and a 60x50 yard turf indoor practice facility.

The Wrestling Practice Facility

TU also recently debuted its wrestling practice facility situated next to the Heminger Center. The new facility includes eight showers, a lockerroom, a laundry room, a strength/conditioning room, offices, and a large practice area with wall-to-wall mats. There are also study areas for students both before and after practices.

TU also enjoys using the Tiffin University Physical Fitness Center, yet another continually developing complex benefiting the student-athlete on TU's ever-growing campus. The facility features a cutting-edge weight center that is continually upgraded with new equipment.
