Graupmann enters his first year coaching with the Dragons. He has coached over
the last two seasons at Marietta College focusing on the sprints and hurdles.
During those two seasons, he helped lead Marietta to 53 All-OAC honors and 10
All-Conference relays. Amongst his other coaching accomplishments, he aided
athletes in becoming National qualifiers and garnering three Division II
All-American honors, including coaching the 2011 OAC Men's Harrison Dillard Most
Outstanding Sprint Athlete. In 2010 he was part of the OAC Women's Indoor
Coaching Staff of the Year.
While coaching at Dixie Heights High School
(KY) in 2008, he coached the KHSAA Class 3A Individual State Champion in the
Boys 300 meter hurdles. He also has coaching experience with the Northern
Kentucky Track Club. He is USATF Level 2 certified in sprints, hurdles, and
relays and also has certification as USATF Level 2 Endurance and USATF Emerging
Elite Coaches Camp for sprints, hurdles, and relays.
He earned his
Bachelors degree in History from Ohio Northern University in 2007. While
competing at ONU he earned All-American honors in 2005 and was 5-time OAC
champion.
