Tiffin University chopped 6 more strokes off its day one total, climbing to 5th overall at the Trevecca Music City Invite.
The event, held at Old Hickory Country Club in Old Hickory, Tennessee, saw TU improve from 326 to 320 on day two, totalling 646 overall. Indianapolis won the event with 595. Carson-Newman (615) edged out Grand Valley State (616), while Findlay had 626. TU tied Wayne State with 646.
Alice Putoud and Staci Ludwig saw the best gains on day two. Putoud was 5 strokes better, going from 83 to 78 to top TU with 161. Ludwig was 4 strokes better (83-79), tying Melissa Gabriele with 162 overall. Gabriele was slightly off on day two (80-82), while Sarah Herb also stayed consistent (82-81), shooting 163 to give TU four golfers within 2 strokes of each other. Emily Koehler was the fifth TU golfer with 170 (81-89).
