McKendree won the event with a 127.5 points, while Maryville was a distant second with 87. Lindenwood was right behind with 85, while Indianapolis had 82 and Tiffin had 76.
Grine lost by a thin 4-3 sudden victory decision against Lindenwood in the semifinals, then bounced back for a 12-4 win over Northern State and a pin in 3:44 over Marian in the third place match.
Bronne, meanwhile, lost 9-3 in the semis to Central Oklahoma, then won by injury default over Indianapolis and via pin in 4:14 over UNC-Pembroke.
Minnick posted two wins over Central Oklahoma 7-3 and UNC-Pembroke 19-7 before falling to Lake Erie 4-3 in a tiebreaker for his lone loss. He then took third after a medical forfeit by Gannon.
Mason defeated Upper Iowa 4-3, then lost to Central Oklahoma 8-4. He won the 7th place match 16-3 over Augustana.
