A total of eight Tiffin University men's soccer student-athletes landed OCSA All Ohio and Academic All Ohio honors.
Earning athletic honors were
Davide Frezzi,
Amara Kamara,
Zach Garcia,
Kai Yamazaki, and
Caleb Gibbons.
Academic All Ohio honors went to
Declan Lehmann,
Thierry van den Bergh,
Lars Van Der Vlugt, and Yamazaki.
Frezzi, a senior Sports Management major from Ancona, Italy, recently earned CSC Third Team Academic All-American honors. He had a strong fall season, as he was named D2CCA Second Team All Midwest Region. He was also a First Team All G-MAC pick and also earned G-MAC Player of the Week honors. Frezzi has earned three all-conference awards over his career. He also most recently was named USC Scholar Athlete, his second national academic honor.
Kamara continues to land honors for his strong 2023 season. He was previously named D2CCA Third Team All American, D2CCA First Team Midwest Region and G-MAC Defensive Player of the Year along with First Team honors in the conference. He was also a G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week.
Yamazaki was also First Team All G-MAC and also earned G-MAC Player of the Week honors. Yamazaki has received two conference honors.
Garcia enjoyed his debut season for TU, landing Second Team All G-MAC honors while Gibbons also is a prior Second Team All G-MAC selection.
