Tiffin University's men's swim team finished day one of the G-MAC/Mountain East The Championships in strong fashion, placing second with 242 points and crowning three champions.
The University of Findlay leads the field with 346 while West Virginia Wesleyan College is third with 209 points.
Tiffin's Miguel Garcia hit an NCAA B provisional mark in the 200 IM in one of the highlights of the day. He posted a time of 1:49.73, setting a new meet record.
Nick Jefferson won in the 3-meter dive, posting a meet record 454.40 points and Nick De Robles also won in the 1000 free in 9:34.26.
Aubin Dulin finished 4th in 200 IM in 1:56.59, while Jonah Sumfleth finished 3rd in the 50 free in 21.26. Matthew La Porte also placed 5th in 1000 free (9:55.11).
The Dragons placed second in the 200 Yard Medley Relay, as the team of Christoph Hohenfeld, Dulin, Garcia, and Sumfleth posted a time of 1:33.19.
Tiffin University's women's swim team placed 9th after day one of the G-MAC/Mountain East Championships with 41 points.
The University of Findlay is leading the event with 447 points with Hillsdale College in second place with 333 points.
Tiffin's top showing on the day came in the 200 medley relay, where the team of Katie Tiell, Rachel Henry, Diamond Boyer, and Isabelle Tarchione placed 9th with a time of 2:07.56.
Tiell also finished 24th in the 1000 freestyle.
