Tiffin University's men's swim and dive team finished day three of the G-MAC/Mountain East Championships with five first-place finishes.
The Dragons remained in second place at the meet after day three, improving their position with 937 points. The University of Findlay leads the meet with 1133 while West Virginia Wesleyan College is third with 687.5 points.
Miguel Garcia posted a win in 200 butterfly in 1:50.92. Nick Jefferson won another title in the 1-meter dive, posting 428.25 points and Nick De Robles also won in the 500 free in 4:35.54. Jonah Sumfleth also brought another win in the 100 backstroke in a meet record time of 1:42.29. while Christoph Hohenfeld won in 100 Breaststroke in 56.61, setting another meet record.
Aubin Dulin finished 3rd in Breaststroke in 57.58, while Yun Hung Tan also finished 5th in 200 butterfly and Matthew La Porte also placed 5th in 500 free.
The Dragons continued their strong performances by finishing 2nd in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay, as the team of Nick De Robles, Miguel Garcia, Matthew La Porte, and Yun Hung Tan posted a time of 3:22.81.
Tiffin University's women's swim team placed 9th after day three of the G-MAC/Mountain East Championships with 146 points.
The University of Findlay is leading the event with 1452.5 points with Hillsdale College is in second place with 1194.5 points.
In Tiffin's top showing on the day, Rachel Henry placing 22nd in 100 Yard Breaststroke while Katie Tiell was 23rd in the 500 freestyle.
