Tiffin University's men's track team had a number of standout performances at the Tiffin Grand Prix, hitting seven provisional marks along the way.
The Dragons hit two provisional marks in both the shot put and the triple jump. Nikolas Curtiss came in second with a 16.97 toss, while Eric Jackson was right behind with 16.87. In the triple jump, Jalon Monigan took first with a big lead of 15.24 meters, while Vincent Vogel was right behind with 14.96.
Toryko Grace kept up TU's hot streak in field events, as he took second with a provisional throw of 19.36 in the weight throw. Cameron Burrows also won the high jump with 2.04 meters for another NCAA mark. On the track side, Errik Snell came in second in 8.11 seconds for the lone provisional mark.
James Ngandu won the mile in 4:13.18, while Stephen Korir was second in 4:21.01 and Josh Jaster was third in 4:26.41. Shaquille Hildreth was another winner for TU, crossing the line in 22.02 in the 200 meters. Reginald Thomas was second in 22.06 and Michael King was third in 22.27.
Other top finishers included Givens (3rd in 60) and Robert Taylor (3rd in long jump).
